Leave hotel and
follow path opposite hotel up to Lanty’s Tarn
Looking back towards
Ullswater with Glenridding Dodd on the left.
On the other side of
Lanty’s Tarn follow the long path up to the “Hole in the wall”
Looking back towards
Patterdale.
“Hole in the wall” on
the left, but take the steps to the right.
Turn right and follow
path towards Birkhouse Moor.

Walking down through Little
Cove next to Mires Beck looking towards Ullswater & Place Fell
Walk through
campsite, view looking back to Birkhouse Moor.
